The 16th East Africa Communication Association (EACA) Annual Conference 2026 will be hosted by St. Paul's University, Kenya, in conjunction with the School of Communication and Computer Studies. The conference theme is "Reimagining Communication in Africa: AI, Media Innovation and Global Collaboration."

The 15th EACA Conference 2025 — Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
The 15th EACA Annual Conference was hosted by Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, from 27 – 29 August 2025. Scholars, researchers, and practitioners from across Africa and beyond gathered for three days of plenaries, panels, and breakout sessions on the future of media and communication research on the continent.
